Camera New Vision is a non-commercial accessibility project that combines camera glasses and your Android smartphone to connect you with a trusted sighted volunteer who can describe your surroundings and guide you in real time. Behind the product is the non-commercial organization NGO "Society of the Blind 'New Vision'".
For blind and low-vision people, things like crossing a busy street, finding the right entrance, or reading a handwritten note can be much easier when you can quickly call a sighted helper.
Camera New Vision offers a new way to overcome those barriers: live human assistance at the moment you need it, through a small camera on your glasses connected to your phone.
